Charities
Helpthedogs.org
Helpthedogs.org - To our shame the United Kingdom is Europe's biggest user of dogs for vivisection. In 2000 over 7,632 dog experiments were performed in the UK, using 4,7455 individual dogs. Hundreds more were killed for their blood and organs, or simply because they were 'surplus to requirements.' Over the years, the BUAV has campaigned consistently to end the use of dogs in research. By visiting our website you can see for yourself just why dog experiments are so cruel and scientifically unjustified. Please join our campaign, and help the BUAV to end their suffering once and for all.

Barry Eaton is an experienced dog trainer, a member of the APDT, and owner of an 11 year old deaf Border Collie, Lady. When Lady joined Barry's family as a nine week old puppy, there was very little in the way of positive help in training her. Most of the training advice available was based on harsh methods and many people in the dog world advised him to have her put to sleep. None of this was acceptable to Barry, so he set about training her himself.
